in conversation with Yamandú Canosa, Artist (Uruguay) 

Yamandú Canosa (Uruguay) since 1975 he lives and works in Barcelona. Numerous museums and art institutions have dedicated exhibitions to their work, as the MNCARS of Madrid, Sprengel Museum of Hannover and Bass Museum of Miami. Between his exhibitions they stand out: El árbol de los frutos diferentes in the Foundation Suñol of Barcelona (2011), 1ª Biennial of Art of Montevideo (2012), El pensamiento oceánico (2015) in the EAC Montevideo, Materia Prima at the Center d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona Fabra i Coats (2017) and Panorama in the Subte Montevideo. In 2018 his project La casa empática wins the call to represent Uruguay at the 58th Venice Biennial.

Patricia Bentancur (Uruguay)director of the Art and New Media Department of the Cultural Center of Spain (CCE) in Montevideo. She has curated more than 200 exhibitions in different museums, cultural centers and biennials in Europe and Latin America. She studied architecture at the University of the Republic of Montevideo and at the School of Architecture of Madrid. She participated as a researcher of the Fullbright Academic Program, she developed her research at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. She has edited more than a hundred books on Ibero-American contemporary art. She has worked in collaboration with institutions and museums such as: MNARS, MOMA, Sammlung Goetz Collection, Walker Art Center, Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz Collection, TEOR / éTica Foundation, Engelman-Ost Collection, Tomie Ohtake Institute and the Conceptualism Network of the South.
