Túlio Pinto (1974, Brasília, Brazil) lives and works in Porto Alegre, Brazil. His works are organized into precise arrangements of balance and force, with pieces that stand autonomously, challenging the fragility of glass and the weight of steel. Advancing the discussions of Brazilian minimalism and constructivism, Pinto's work investigates harmony, balance, and transience. He has held solo exhibitions, including Buraco no Céu at Museu Oscar Niemeyer (Curitiba, Brazil, 2023), Land Line at Fondamenta Sant’Apollonia and Piero Atchugarry Gallery (Venice, Italy, 2019), Tres Tiempos at Galeria Senda (Barcelona, Spain, 2018), Athar at Galeria Piero Atchugarry (Garzón, Uruguay, 2018), and Onloaded at the Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (USA, 2015). Pinto participated in notable group exhibitions like the 13th Bienal do Mercosul (Porto Alegre, Brazil, 2022) and Manifesta (Lyon, France, 2021). His works are part of collections such as the Marta Herford Museum (Germany), Fundación Pablo Atchugarry (Manantiales, Uruguay), Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson (Madrid, Spain), and Museu Oscar Niemeyer (Brazil), among others.
