The Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay, through the National Directorate of Culture, is once again present at the ESTE ARTE international fair. Guiding this endeavor since its first edition, understanding that one of the components of public policies in the visual arts must be the stimulus of the art market, and also, ESTE ARTE for its permanence and proposal of excellence, which has become one of the most important milestones for the reaffirmation of this market in the country. At ESTE ARTE 2020, the MEC presented the MEC Acquisition Grand Prize 2019: Crossfit by the Uruguayan artist Emilio Bianchic.
