TOMAS REDRADO ART (TRA) is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2022, representing emerging and mid-career Latin American artists whose practices explore form, texture, materiality, and new modes of expression. With spaces in Miami and José Ignacio, and an expanding presence in Buenos Aires, TRA connects regional practices with international audiences through exhibitions, art fairs, and sustained relationships with collectors, curators, and institutions. Tomás Redrado Art presents a new series of watercolors by Luna Paiva in dialogue with a site-specific installation at the gallery’s José Ignacio space. Through transparency, accumulation, and fluidity, the watercolors explore transformation, fragility, and suspension, creating a counterpoint to the physical presence of Paiva’s sculptural practice. Rather than functioning as studies, the works on paper form an autonomous body of work and a parallel language within the project. Organic fragments and imagined landscapes move between familiarity and estrangement, while the relationship between watercolor and installation establishes tensions between image and object, weight and lightness, permanence and transience.

Luna Paiva (b. 1980, Paris) is a Franco-Argentine artist based in Barcelona whose practice spans sculpture, installation, photography, and works on paper. She studies Art History and Archaeology at the Sorbonne and film at New York University. Paiva transforms natural forms and everyday objects—including rocks, cacti, plants, and garden furniture—through bronze, ceramic, clay, and mixed media. Her work examines memory, ritual, preservation, and the passage of time, producing objects that oscillate between the familiar and the uncanny. Her work has been exhibited across Latin America, Europe, and the United States and is held in the collection of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires.
